Dr. Kathryn M. Bartol is the Robert H. Smith Professor of Management and Organization at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park. She is the past Dean of the Fellows of the Academy of Management, as well as a Past President of the Academy of Management. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Management, the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and the American Psychological Society. Her articles have appeared in such leading journals as the Academy of Management Journal, the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Academy of Management Review, Personnel Psychology, the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, the Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management Review, MIS Quarterly, and Industrial and Labor Relations Review.

Mr. David Chang in August 2006, became CEO Greater China of Royal Philips Electronics.  Before joining Philips, Mr. Chang worked with Zenith in the development and manufacturing divisions. While working with Philips, he spent quite some time in the area of displays for both TV and computer monitor applications (TFT LCDユs etc.). He is a veteran in leading Philips’ Computer Monitor Business Unit and establishing Philips as the strong brand and in the OEM position it enjoys today. During his time as the General Manager for the business group Display Components in the Asia Pacific region, he managed several phases of the transfer of factories and business units from Taiwan to China. Later on, he also initiated the idea of industry consolidation in the display field. That has resulted in two major joint ventures between Philips and LG. Electronics in the TFT, LCD and CRT fields. He was then appointed as Chairman for LG. Philips LCD and as a supervisory board member for LG. Philips Displays.   In addition to his role as the Chairman for the Philips China Management Team, he also has seats on the boards of various joint ventures in China. He is quite instrumental in nourishing the relationship with Chinese partners and aligning business goals. He is also a board member of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, a Shanghai Chapter Advisory Board member of CEIBS (China Europe International Business School), Vice Chairman of CAEFI (China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment) and ECFIC (Executive Committee of Foreign Investment Company in China). Mr. Chang is Advisor to the Nanjing municipal government and the City of Rotterdam. He was named one of China’s Top 10 Elites 2005 by China’s Talents magazine. He is member of the International Advisory Board.

Ms. Annette D.S.M. Nijs, MSc MBA, Managing Director, Nyenrode Business Universiteit Europe China Institute (The Netherlands). Former Dutch Cabinet Minister for Education, Science and Culture and former Member of Parliament, she was appointed as CEIBS Executive Director of Global Initiative effective October 1, 2008. 
Before joining CEIBS, Ms Nijs was the Managing Director of the Europe China Institute of Nyenrode Business University in the Netherlands, Ms. Nijs has a rich career that spans the political, commercial and academic spheres. In addition to being a former member of the Dutch Parliament, she was also a former Cabinet Minister for Education, Culture and Science in two of the Dutch Cabinets led by Prime Minister Balkenende. Before joining the government Ms Nijs gained more than 10 years experience in the energy industry, working for Shell. Her career has spanned a wide variety of functions ranging from business consultancy, strategy, marketing, sales, media relations and regional finance management to global bottom line management

Prof. George S. Yip, Deanof the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (The Netherlands)
He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in economics from Cambridge University; and an MBA and doctorate from Harvard Business School. Before joining RSM, Professor Yip was Vice President and Director of Research & Innovation at Capgemini Consulting. During this time he was on leave of absence as Professor of Strategic and International Management at London Business School. He was previously the Chair of Marketing and Strategy at Cambridge University, and has held faculty positions at Harvard Business School and UCLA, and visiting positions at China-Europe International Business School, Georgetown University, Stanford Business School, and Templeton College-Oxford. Professor Yip is a Fellow of the Advanced Institute of Management Research, which is the UK’s research initiative on management, and a Fellow of the Academy of International Business. He is one of the world's leading authorities on global strategy and marketing, managing global customers, and internationalization. His current research concerns management innovation, strategic transformation, international competitiveness, and global customers.

Dr. Zhu Xiaoming is Vice Chairman ofハthe Shanghai Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Since 5th June 2006, Dr. Zhu has been President and Professor of Management at CEIBS. He has been a member of the CEIBS Board of Directors since 2000. As an expert enjoying the State Council's special subsidy, he was offered the position of Honorary Dean of College of Economics and Management in Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2003, where he had served as PhD. Advisor since 2002. Dr. Zhu received PhD. in Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, his MS. in Industrial Management and BS. in Electrical Automation from China Textile University.

Zhu Xiaoming served as Vice-Chairman of Shanghai Students Federation from1979 to1983 (the 9th session), Deputy Director of Shanghai Bureau of Textile Industry, General Manager and Party Secretary of Shanghai Jinqiao Export Processing Zone Development Co. Ltd. and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Shanghai Pudong New Area. From 1995 to 2003, he served as Deputy Secretary-General of Shanghai Municipal People's Government and Chairman of both Shanghai Foreign Economic Relation and Trade Commission and Shanghai Foreign Investment Commission. From 2003 to 2008, he served as Deputy Director ofハthe Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress. The major honors awarded to Dr. Zhu include "Most Outstanding Chinese Entrepreneur" in 1994 by Asiaweek; the 3rd Prize for "Science and Technology Advancement in Shanghai" in 1985, the 2nd Prize for "Science and Technology Advancement in Shanghai" in 1995, the 2nd Prize for "Shanghai Policy-making Consultation Achievement" in 1998, the 1st Prize for "Shanghai Policy-making Consultation Achievement" in 2004 and Distinguished Award of the International Academy of Management in 2008.

Mr. Chen Yuan, Governor China Development Bank. China. Mr. Chen Yuan is General Manager in charge of project due diligence in China. Chen has over 15 years experience in senior management and investment in China. Prior to joining McNeill, Chen worked for Shenzhen City Investment Management Co. and was later vice general manager of Hui Kei Industrial Limited, one of Shenzhenユs largest Import-Export companies. Chen holds a Business Administration degree from Hunan University.

Dr. Dirk Matthys, CEO Arcelor Mittal China. He has strong ties to Pennsylvania. He conducted his doctorate research at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He received his Ph.D.from the University of Ghent in Belgium, where he retains an affiliation as a professor focusing on strategy and industrial management. He holds master’s degrees in civil engineering and industrial management. From May 2005 through 2008, Mr. Matthys was CEO and country manager of Arcelor China and later of ArcelorMittal China. After the 2002 merger between Arbed, Usinor, and Aceralia, Mr. Matthys took up responsibilities in international distribution and in 2003 joined the Arcelor distribution sectorユs executive committee, where he was responsible for Arcelor Projects, a global specialized supplier to large and complex infrastructure, construction, and off-shore projects in civil engineering domains. During this period, Mr. Matthys was named chairman of Parsippany, N.J.-based Skyline Steel LLC, one of the leading companies of the Arcelor Projects group. He managed its restructuring beginning in 2003. That same year, he became CEO of Arcelor’s worldwide international sales network.Gamesa’s North American Fairless Hills and Ebensburg plants are completing a re-engineering process to prepare for the companyユs new G-90 model wind turbine deployment in 2010.

Derrick Philippe GOSSELIN, Professor Ghent University and Green Templeton College, University of Oxford.
He began his career as attaché in the office of the Belgian Prime Minister before joining Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1984. From 1990 till 2001, he worked for the Alcatel-Alsthom group were he held various junior and senior executive positions. As of 1999, he was vice president marketing and business development for Northern & Central Europe (including Japan and Korea) and chairman of the European strategic marketing special task force.
He jointed the Suez group in 2002. He was, from 2003 till 2007, executive vice president and chief strategy officer of Suez Energy International (SEI)He is Professor of International Business Marketing at Ghent University (FEB), Ordinary Fellow of the Royal Belgian Academy of Sciences [RBAS] - Class of Technical Sciences [CTS][CAWET][CAETS] and Belgian academy representative to the European Council of Academies of Applied Sciences, Technologies and Engineering [Euro-Case], Associate Fellow, Green-Templeton College [GTC], University of Oxford. Associate Fellow, Oxford Institute for Science, Innovation and Society [INSIS], Saïd Business School, University of Oxford (Institute of the James Martin 21st Century School [JMI]), Member of the editorial review board of: Industrial Marketing Management [IMM], the Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing [JBIM] and the European Journal of Intelligence Studies [EJIS], Fellow of the International Academy of Management [IAM].
